Worth remembering
Buddy Holly helped make the Stratocaster visually familiar to early rock-and-roll audiences. The Fender Stratocaster's double cutaways and contoured body helped make its silhouette one of the most recognizable in music. Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, and Bonnie Raitt are among the major players associated with the Stratocaster.
