The instrument itself
Early modular synthesizers made electronic sound generation a visible part of live performance as well as studio work. A Moog synthesizer system used by Gershon Kingsley was built in 1967 in Trumansburg, New York. Kingsley performed with his Moog system in concerts in both the United States and Europe.
