RIPON SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Ripon, WI

Instrument story

The Fender Stratocaster's double cutaways and contoured body helped make its silhouette one of the most recognizable in music. Fender has repeatedly reissued earlier Stratocaster designs, reflecting how strongly players value particular eras of the instrument. A classic Stratocaster layout combines three pickups with a vibrato system that lets players bend pitch mechanically.
