Goodtime Dutchmen

A little music history

The Smithsonian identifies Hancock's MemoryMoog as the instrument used for his live performances of Rockit during the 1980s. Hancock's use of synthesizers helped connect jazz musicianship with the rapidly changing electronic sounds of the 1980s. Herbie Hancock used a MemoryMoog Plus synthesizer during the 1980s.
