The MemoryMoog combined multiple oscillators, filters, and modulation controls in a programmable analog synthesizer. Herbie Hancock used a MemoryMoog Plus synthesizer during the 1980s. The Smithsonian identifies Hancock's MemoryMoog as the instrument used for his live performances of Rockit during the 1980s.
