Black Knight
A little instrument history
The distinctive Cloud body shape was inspired by an earlier bass design built for Prince's friend André Cymone. The Cloud guitar's fretboard markers combine male and female symbols, another custom detail in Prince's instrument design. Prince's Yellow Cloud guitar began as a white custom instrument made around 1983.
